27-Year-Old man arraigned for alleged assault in Ibadan
Olayiwola Yusuf, 27, was charged with assault, conspiracy, and malicious damage after allegedly attacking David Adesanya and damaging his shirt worth N35,000 in Ibadan. The case has been adjourned to April 24 for hearing.
A 27-year-old man, Olayiwola Yusuf, was arraigned on Wednesday before an Iyaganku Magistrates’ Court in Ibadan on charges of assault, conspiracy, and malicious damage.
Yusuf, whose address was not provided, pleaded not guilty to the three-count charge.
The charges include conspiracy, assault, and malicious damage.
The Prosecutor, Insp. Segun Adegboye, informed the court that the defendant committed the alleged offences on February 24 at around 7:30 p.m. in the Elebu Area of Ibadan.
Adegboye claimed that Yusuf, along with others still at large, conspired to assault one David Adesanya, beating him and damaging his shirt, valued at N35,000.

The prosecutor stated that the alleged actions contravened Sections 516, 351, and 451 of the Criminal Laws of Oyo State, 2000.
Magistrate Mrs. Kausarat Ayofe granted Yusuf bail in the sum of N100,000, with two sureties in like sum.
She adjourned the case until April 24 for hearing.
