3 brothers arrested for murder
Three brothers have been arrested by the police in Kebbi State for allegedly be@ting a neighbour, Abbas Abubakar, to de@th after accusing him of ste@ling their motorcycle in Birnin Kebbi town.
It was gathered that the suspects, identified as Abubakar Ahmed, Ubaidu Ahmed and Halilu Ahmed, took Abubakar to their house, tied him with a rope and beat him to coma.
The command’s spokesperson, SP Nafiu Abubakar, in a statement on Friday, September 23, said the deceased was rushed to a hospital where he was confirmed dead. He said the unfortunate incident occurred on Monday, September 19, 2022.
According to him, on the said day, the suspects conspired and went to the residence of one Sanusi Abubakar and demanded him to call his junior brother named Abbas Abubakar A.K.A Zabi for them, because they were suspecting him to have stolen their motorcycle, a Haojue Roba-Roba.
