5 home remedies you should use to help get rid of wall gecko from your home
Wall geckos are small crawling lizards that moves around the house. They could either be white, brown or even mixed colors.You could see them in holes, cracks, ceilings and also on the wall. They usually help eat some house hold insects like cockroach, flies and bug. Some people don’t just like seeing wall gecko around them, they rather prefer to kill them. If you wish to get rid of wall gecko, I will share some home remedies that will help you achieve that.
Below are the home remedies.
1. Pepper spray
Your pepper spray can either be made from cayenne pepper or chili powder. Find a spray container containing water and put your pepper inside. Shake them together to help enhance a proper mixture. Spray the pepper-water mixture in areas where wall gecko usually stay. The choking smell of the pepper helps to get rid of the wall gecko.
2. Onions
Onions have some properties which helps to irritate wall gecko, thereby chasing them away. Cut the onions into slices and keep it in areas that you find wall geckos. When the geckos come to these areas they will be irritated and run away.
3.Garlic
Garlic are used to repel wall geckos because of their strong and repelling odour. Keep garlic gloves in enclosures, dark areas and holes to help drive wall geckos away.
4.Mothballs
Place mothballs around your house mostly in the hide out of geckos. They have some repelling properties which helps get rid of these tiny lizards.
5. Eggshells
The eggshells are used to scare the wall geckos. Keep the egg shell in strategic positions, it will help chase them out from your house.
