EFCC Chairman, Bawa slumps at Presidential Villa, while delivering goodwill speech
The Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Abdulrasheed Bawa, Thursday slumped at the third National Identity Day celebration held at the Banquet Hall of the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
It was gathered that the EFCC chairman was delivering a goodwill speech, when he suddenly paused midway and slumped. He was about to reveal how the commission arrested a man in Ibadan with 120 SIM cards, narrating “this is where I will stop” but suddenly staggered backward and stretched out on his seat.
The Minister of Communications and Digital Economy, Isa Pantami, and other dignitaries assisted in holding Bawa for a while, and thereafter, led him out of the hall.
