Police arrest 120 in Lagos over breach of interstate travel ban

The Lagos State Police command on Monday revealed the arrest of 120 travelers accused of violating the restriction on inter-state traveling. The Lagos State Commissioner of Police, Hakeem Odumosu, supervised the parading of over 120 travelers arrested at the entry point into Lagos on Sunday night.

He declared that the operatives in the state will continue to enforce the Presidential order on the ban on interstate travel. The CP decried that despite all measures toward preventing the spread of coronavirus, Nigerians are still adamant and stubborn in their ways. The CP cautioned citizens to desist from flouting the presidential protocol orders on COVID-19 prevention.
