Declaration of martial law will worsen the present situation. It would be a great opportunity for cession. Cessionist will see it as an opportunity to separate. Going by the calls from at least three different regions that want to leave Nigeria the national arm forces is not capable to stand war in different places and won.
The easy way out is dialogue. Let us have a referendum on the state of the nation.
