I’m delighted I didn’t take sides during P-Square’s rift – Anita Okoye
Anita Okoye, wife of Paul Okoye of the now-defunct music group, P-square, on Thursday said she was delighted that she didn’t take sides during the group’s rift.
This comes a day after the popular singing duo, Peter and Paul, were seen in a viral video embracing after years of beef that made their band, P-Square, split.
To the disappointment of their fans, the brothers did not give a clear reason for their ‘beef’, which led to the disbandment of their group five years ago.
Fans, nonetheless, suspected the brothers’ reconciliation when some days ago, Paul’s wife, Anita, took to her Instagram page to share a video that showed Peter enjoying quality time with his twin brother’s children in the United States as they went shopping.
Shortly after that, Peter and Paul went back to following each other on Instagram.
As the twin brothers celebrated their birthday on Thursday, Anita took to her Instagram page to hail them, revealing that she had a great relationship with the duo during the rift.
She said. “Dem be one no be two! Happy Birthday Ejima (twins). This is best birthday present either of you could receive!
“Thank you for letting me have such a great relationship with both of you independent of your rift. I am delighted I didn’t let your coconut heads let me choose sides.
“There’s a lesson here. Do not ever involve yourself in a tiff that doesn’t concern you and don’t let social media and the opinion of those who do not matter define your situation! Let God guide you! Love wins.”
