Aisha replies man who accused media of silence over IPOB killing of mother of four in Anambra
The gruesome murder of Fatima – a pregnant mother and her four kids – in Orumba North Local Government Area of Anambra state by suspected members of Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) has dominated the headlines and sparked national outrage.
Aisha Yesufu, an outspoken activist and convener of the Bring Back Our Girls (BBOG) movement, condemned the incident.
But it seems her condemnation was not satisfying to some members of Arewa twitters who took turns in criticising and accusing the activist of being bias and hypocritical with regards to her activism.
A Twitter user accused the mainstream national media of under reporting the killing of Fatima and her kids. To which, Activist Aisha Yesufu replied saying: “Go and start you media. Nobody owes you reportage.”
