Kaduna group writes facebook to delete Reno Omokri’s page for allegedly inciting violence, ethnic hatred in Nigeria
The group in a letter to Facebook headquarters said taking down Omokri’s page would be of great advantage to Nigerians.
People’s Right Organisation, a Kaduna State-based group, has asked Facebook’s company, Meta, to stop a former aide to former President Goodluck Jonathan, Reno Omokri, from using the platform to incite violence and instigate ethnic hatred in Nigeria.
The group in a letter to Facebook headquarters said taking down Omokri’s page would be of great advantage to Nigerians.
“RENO OMOKRI as a popular Lawyer and Author has been using his fame to incite violence thereby causing ethnicity tension through his page.
“I am directed to respectfully ask to take down his page after through check which will help the good people of Nigeria.
“We will be waiting for your swift action. Thank you for your usual co-operation.”
