Bandits encroach on Abuja, kidnap 22
Bandits on Friday encroached on the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Abuja, invading farmland in a satellite town on the border with Niger State and kidnapped about 22 farmers.
The police authorities were said to have acknowledged the attack on Friday, disclosing that it occurred in Rafin Daji, a border community of the FCT with Niger State.
According to the police, “The farmers were on their farmland working when gunmen outnumbered and kidnapped them.” message.
The bandits kidnapping 22 farmers, were said to have also set ablaze two tractors.
