Obasanjo calls Charly Boy father of frustrated Nigerian youths (Video)
Popular Nigerian singer and songwriter Charles Chukwuemeka Oputa popularly called Charly Boy met with the former president of Nigeria Olusegun Obasanjo, as he paid him a visit to his residence and they got to discuss the plight of the Nigerian youths.
In a 2 minute 43 second’s video uploaded on Vanguard News Facebook page, Charly Boy appeared to be sorted on the floor while Obasanjo was sites on a chair, as Charly Boy told him that he is the president of the frustrated youths of Nigeria.
Obasanjo replied him saying that he is the father figure of the frustrated Nigerian youths. Watch the video here at 0:22 seconds. Charly Boy asked Obasanjo what his advise will be to a Nigerian youth that have tried everything possible but was unable to get job, and have no hope, coupled with a toxic environment, what would he say to that youth to give him/her some hope.
Obasanjo said that the fact that Nigerians are poor and frustrated is not the fault of God, rather it is the fault of bad leadership. He said he would tell that youth that the only way to change the situation for better is to change the leadership.
According to Obasanjo, there’s nobody who would effect the change of leadership other than Nigerian youths.
