VAR denies Everton victory over Liverpool
VAR was the saving grace that Liverpool needed to escape defeat at Goodison Park in their week six encounter with Everton.
Conor Coady had scored in the 70th minute to give Everton in the lead. He had fired a shot from a pass by Neal Maupay within the box.
The referee disallowed the goal after a VAR check, ruling offside.
Everton keeper, Jordan Pickford, was on duty on Saturday to give his side a clean sheet in the game with Liverpool, made several goal-bound saves.
Also, Liverpool keeper, Alisson Becker, also made many save to prevent Liverpool from going down to Everton.
