MAMU: Bandits’ negotiator lands in Nigeria, arrested by DSS

Deported Malam Tukur Mamu, the publisher of the Desert Herald, deported from Cairo has landed in Nigeria—into the waiting hand of the DSS at Malam Aminu Kano International Airport in Kano.

Mamu had foretold this while he was on his way back from Egypt, where he was arrested and detained for 24 hours—originally on his way o Saudi Arabia.

He will be taken to the DSS headquarters in Abuja.

Mamu was interfacing between the families of the March train attack victims and the bandits who attacked and kidnapped more than 60 passengers.

As media aide to Sheikh Gumi, the known advocate for repentant bandits, Mamu, amny believe, must have questions to answer before the DSS for his unofficial role as negotiator for the terrorists.

But the publisher says he’s not afraid.
