Group rally youth’s support for Asiwaju ahead of 2023 general election
Youth leaders in Southwest have been urged to give massive support for the Presidential candidate of the All Progressive Congress, APC, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed-Tinubu, if they yearn for positive development in the nation.
The coordinator of a youth base group in Lagos and Oyo State, known as ATG, Mr. Rilwan Adegboyega-Usman, made this call in a statement issued to officially declare his group’s loyalty, commitment and apparent dedication to the success of the APC at the 2023 General Elections.
Mr. Adegboyega-Usman who is also the Principal Coordinator of BATCO Mandate Group in Oshodi Isolo Local Government area of Lagos State, beckons on Nigerian youths to wake up to their responsibilities and get involved in politics, if they want to see the desired positive change in the country.
He added that a situation whereby youths do not show interest in the country’s electoral process would mean conceding their birthrights to politicians, whose policies may not reflect the collective objective of the populace, especially the young Nigerians.
Mr Rilwan Adegboyega-Usman, who commended the Chairman of BATCO Mandate Group, Alh Abdullahi Ayinde Enilolobo for giving them a platform, said it is important for youths if they desire to change the narratives to support the presidential ambition of Asiwaju Tinubu and the reelection of Governor Babajide Sanwoolu in Lagos State.
He hinted that a rally would be organised across the southwest region, starting from Lagos State, to bring youth together, so they can relate with themselves to ensure that Tinubu wins the election.
The BATCO Mandate Coordinator noted that the exemplary performance of the Tinubu political family in Lagos State since 1999 is enough reason for youth to not only support APC but to also canvass others to support the party during the 2023 general elections.
