Netizens reacts as ‘Pure Water’ producers increase price

The Association of Table Water Producers have increased the price of sachet water popularly known as ‘pure water’ to N300 per bag.

In a video that was shared on social media on Wednesday, the National President, Clementina Ativie, announced of the increment.

The development of sachet water has stirred reactions from some Nigerians on Twitter who blamed the increment on the government.

A tweep, Bamidele SamAj, lamented how bad the country has become saying, “Nigeria government, a woeful failure!!”

Recalling how many bags of water ₦300 used to buy a couple of years back, a tweep, BolaButty, said, “300 that will buy you 10 bags 2-3 years ago will now get you 1. Chai, this government don finish this country. Sad”

Another tweep, Temitope, said “Na to dey drink ice water now. Who pure water help?”
