U.S. Nigerian pastor launches Bible study APP in Lagos

A United States Nigerian pastor, Gregory Lanre Ijiwola has launched a Bible study application called “To You Bible App” in Lagos.

With the development, it’s believed information technology has found its way into bible study in the world.

Speaking at a press briefing held in Lagos recently, to unveil the application, Pastor Ijiwola, while introducing the Bible App, described it as an application that will revolutionise the user’s approach to meditating on God’s Word.

The cleric said the app remained the only one of its kind in the world, adding that the application has been endorsed by a number of reputable clerics within and outside Nigeria including the American Bible Society, which endorsed it as the Most Innovative Apps.

Others are Pastor Sunday Adelaja, Rev. Sam Adeyemi, Leke Alder, among others.

Explaining the Bible App background, Ijiwola said, “ToYouBible is a personalised Bible App for daily reading, meditations and Bible study. It was an idea that came to Gregory Lanre Ijiwola (pastorlan.com) to create an app that helps readers of God’s word enjoy a more personalized experience in their Scripture readings and meditations.”

Explaining the reason for the app, the cleric said, “The Bible contains thousands of wonderful promises to be trusted, believed and appropriated in the life of the reader. When these promises are read, they often sound generalised and distant.
