Keyamo petitions DSS, demands Peter Obi and Baba-Ahmed’s arrest for allegedly inciting insurrection
Minister of State, Labour and Employment, Mr Festus Keyamo (SAN), has called for the arrest and pros£cution of Labour Party’s presidential candidate Peter Obi and his running mate Datti Baba-Ahmed.
In a petition to the Department of State Services (DSS) on Thursday, March 23, Keyamo said Obi and Baba-Ahmed have been making incendiary comments and claims about the declaration of Bola Tinubu as president-elect by INEC.
According to him, “These comments and claims are made, not just within the boundaries of exercising their rights to freedom of speech and the freedom to air their grievances publicly, but they have since crossed the line to call for the outright truncation of democracy by insisting on the adoption of other processes outside the contemplation of our Constitution.
