Police officers torture man to death, label him an armed robber
A man identified as Chibuike Okafor has reportedly passed on after he slumped at a police station in Awka, Anambra State.
According to a source, the deceased had issues with police officers, Inspector Nzegwu Joseph & SP Kennedy kelechi Otti, who are attached to B’Division Awka.
It was gathered that the police officers allegedly tôrtured Chibuike till he slumped. He was rushed to Odumegwu Ojukwu Teaching Hospital, Awka, where he was pronounced dead.
“This happened recently. They arrested the boy and tortured him. Even when his mother visited the police station to plead on her son’s behalf, they chased her away.
Now that the boy has died, they’re claiming he was caught with a gun and an ângry môb beat him up, which are lies from the pit of hell. Please, we need justice for the boy’s mother.
