It was gathered that the police officers allegedly tôrtured Chibuike till he slumped. He was rushed to Odumegwu Ojukwu Teaching Hospital, Awka, where he was pronounced dead.
“This happened recently. They arrested the boy and tortured him. Even when his mother visited the police station to plead on her son’s behalf, they chased her away.
Now that the boy has died, they’re claiming he was caught with a gun and an ângry môb beat him up, which are lies from the pit of hell. Please, we need justice for the boy’s mother.
