DSS responded late to plot of interim govt. – Buba Galadima
A member of the Board of Trustees of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP), Buba Galadima, at the weekend expressed support for the report of the Department of Security Service (DSS) on the plot to install interim government in Nigeria after the 2023 general elections. He said that the DSS made its statement late on the interim government controversy, noting that some stakeholders were already raising the issue of interim government before the 2023 general elections.
Galadima, speaking on ARISE NEWS interview programme, PRIME TIME, monitored by National Daily from Lagos, insinuated that the DSS does not harvest sufficient or timely intelligence, saying that the security agency ought to have acted faster than it did on the issue of interim government.
Galadima declared that “some of the parties or candidates did not go into the 2023 general elections to win;” asserting that “they went into the elections to scatter the country so that there will be interim government.” He maintained that “the DSS acted too late, and should proceed to arrest those identified with the interim government plot.”
