Appeal Court sacks another APC Senator Senator
The Court of Appeal sitting in Abuja has nullified the election of the Senator representing Adamawa North Senatorial District in the National Assembly, Ishaku Abbo.
Abbo was elected in February 2023 under the platform of the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC.
The court, according to Channels TV, ruled in favour of the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Amos Yohanna.
Senator Abbo is currently a member of All Progressives Congress (APC) following his defection from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) after he won his first tenure as Senator.

Abbo became notoriously popular after he was seen on video assaulting a lady, Ms Osimibibra Warmate, in a toy sex shop somewhere in Abuja for allegedly abusing him.
He lost his appeal at the Abuja Division of the Court of Appeal which affirmed the N50 million damages that was awarded against him for assaulting Ms. Warmate in the sex toy shop.
He has once again lost his appeal in the same court over the 2023 senatorial election petition.
