Abba Moro replaces Nwadkwon as Senate Minority Leader
Senator Abba Moro, representing Benue South in the National Assembly, on Tuesday replaced Senator Simon Nwadkwon, representing Plateau North, as Minority Leader of the Senate.
The President of the Senate, Godswill Akpabio, announced the emergence of Abba Moro of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), as the new Senate Minority Leader at plenary on Tuesday.

Moro was a former Minister of Interior.
Senator Simon Nwadkwon, representing Plateau North on the PDP platform, had his election nullified by the court on October 23.

Senator Osita Ngwu, representing Enugu West, on the PDP platform, was also appointed the Senate Minority Whip, replacing Senator Darlington Nwokwocha of the Labour Party (LP).
