The House, in a motion moved by Jeremiah Umaru of the All Progressives Congress (APC), representing Akwanga/Nasarawa Egon/Wamba) in the National Assembly, discovered that trillions of naira had been deposited through the Remita platform, and were unaccounted for because of the proliferation of sub-accounts by the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN).
The lawmakers, therefore, sought reforms of the TSA process.
