Katsina: Police confirm rescue of 30 abducted children
The Katsina State Police Command confirmed the successful rescue of 30 children abducted by bandits in Kasai Village, Batsari Local Government Area.
Spokesperson Abubakar Sadiq reported on Tuesday that the children were taken while collecting firewood on Monday.
“Following the report of the abduction,” Sadiq explained, “the police launched a swift rescue operation.
Thankfully, all the children have been safely reunited with their families.”

Sadiq confirmed the incident, stating, “The children were indeed collecting firewood when they were encountered by the bandits.”
National Daily Newspaper gathered that Batsari is one of the areas in Katsina most affected by recent bandit activity.
