Four oil thieves to spend two years in jail
Four persons who were arrested at Urohi, in Esan West local government area by the Edo State Command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) have been sentenced to two years imprisonment each for oil theft.
They were found guilty on Friday by a Federal High Court sitting in Benin, Edo State.
The four convicts identified as Jonathan Perekeme, Obi Tuku, Okus Moni and Perede Felix, were arrested by men after they burst a pipeline and siphoned product.
The Edo State NSCDC Commandant, Mr. Makinde Ayinla, disclosed on Friday that the convicts were arraigned on three-count charge each.

He reiterated that the convicts were arrested on January 2016 at Urohi, Esan West local government area of the state.
National Daily gathered that the convicts were arraigned for unlawful aid, counsels and collaboration with oil thieves, conspiracy; and illegal dealing in petroleum products without lawful authority.
