Police Public Relations Officer of the Borno State Command, ASP Nahum Kenneth Daso, in a statement on Thursday in Maiduguri, highlighted @BornoPoliceNG,
SENSITIZATION ON FLOOD RESCUE OPERATION
“Borno State Police Command under the stewardship of CP ML Yusufu psc is actively engaged in rescue and aid efforts in response to the recent flood disaster.

“The Command is working closely with the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA), State Emergency Management Agency (SEMA), and other relevant aid agencies to ensure the safety and security of the public If you are in distress, please reach out to the following emergency numbers for assistance: 0806 807 5581, 0802 347 3293.
“For your safety, we urge you to:
1. Clearly state your concern and provide your precise location using landmarks.
2. Keep a safe distance from fast-moving water and hazardous areas.
3. Avoid attempting self-rescue and wait for professional assistance.
“We call on everyone to stay calm and remain vigilant during this challenging time. “Together, we can ensure the safety and well-being of our community.”
