UEFA bans Barcelona fans over racist banner
Barcelona firmly reject any justification for violence and are dedicated to ensuring that our supporters reflect the values of respect and inclusion that our club stands for.”
Barcelona will play their next away Champions League match without fans and face a €10,000 ($11,000) fine due to a racist banner displayed by supporters, UEFA announced on Friday.
The incident occurred during a match against Monaco on September 19, when fans unveiled a sign reading “Flick Heil,” a reference to their German coach Hansi Flick, echoing the Nazis’ “Sieg Heil.”
In response, FC Barcelona issued a statement rejecting any form of violence and confirmed their commitment to comply with UEFA’s sanctions.

They lost their previous match against Monaco 2-1.
