World record holder in the women’s 100m hurdles, Tobi Amusan, has announced her forthcoming documentary titled ‘Homecoming,’ which will tell her athletic story.
The trailer for the documentary was announced by the athlete on Tuesday and was done by sports news and content studio ATHLST.
“Over the past couple of years, I’ve been pouring my heart into a project that shares my journey—the highs, struggles, and everything in between. This is YOUR opportunity to be part of something special,” Amusan wrote via X on Tuesday.
The 2:15s trailer featured Amusan’s world record race at Oregon in 2022, as well as some of her dark times, particularly in 2023 when she was provisionally suspended by the Athletics Integrity Unit over whereabouts, before she was cleared at the Court of Arbitration for Sport.

Amusan is the current world record holder in the women’s 100m hurdles with a time of 12.12s, which she set at the 2022 women’s 100m hurdles semi-final in Eugene, Oregon.
She ran another blistering 12.06s in the final, but it didn’t stand due to the tailwind.
She is the current Commonwealth and African champion in the 100m hurdles, as well as the meet record holder in those two competitions.
Amusa also won three Diamond League titles in 2021, 2022, and 2023.
