Chelsea have officially confirmed all player movements and contract decisions concluded during the winter transfer window, publishing a comprehensive list of arrivals, departures, and contract extensions on Monday.

The Premier League club disclosed the details in a statement on its official website on transfer deadline day, offering clarity on squad changes made as the Blues continue to reshape their team for the remainder of the season and beyond.

Arrivals and Returns

Chelsea confirmed the addition of several players to the squad, including academy recruitment and the return of loanees recalled for depth and development purposes.

Yisa Alao joined the club from Sheffield Wednesday’s academy, strengthening Chelsea’s youth ranks.

Mamadou Sarr was recalled from his loan spell at Strasbourg, while Kiano Dyer returned from his temporary stint at Volenda. Goalkeeper Teddy Sharman-Lowe was also recalled from Bolton Wanderers, and defender Caleb Wiley returned to Stamford Bridge following his loan spell at Watford.

Departures and Loan Moves

The club also sanctioned a significant number of exits, with a mix of permanent transfers, loan deals, and a high-profile contract termination.

Ato Ampah completed a permanent move to Stoke City, while Facundo Buonanotte joined Leeds United on loan for the remainder of the season. Leo Castledine sealed a permanent transfer to Middlesbrough, and Yahya Idrissi moved permanently to AC Milan. Joel Philbert also left Chelsea on a permanent deal to Tottenham Hotspur.

In one of the most notable developments, Raheem Sterling departed the club by mutual agreement, bringing an end to his time at Stamford Bridge.

Several players were sent out on loan to gain regular first-team football. Aaron Anselmino and David Fofana joined Strasbourg, while Axel Disasi moved to West Ham United. Tyrique George joined Everton, Kendry Paez moved to River Plate, Frankie Runham signed for Ipswich Town, and Joseph Wheeler-Henry joined Brentford on temporary deals.

Contract Update

Chelsea also confirmed a contract decision during the window, announcing that Ryan Kavuma-McQueen has been handed a new deal, underlining the club’s commitment to retaining and developing young talent.

The flurry of activity reflects Chelsea’s continued focus on squad management, balancing immediate competitive needs with long-term development, as the club navigates a demanding season in domestic and European competitions.
