Mourinho introduces four strict rules in Real Madrid dressing room

Real Madrid manager Jose Mourinho has reportedly introduced four new rules aimed at improving discipline and professionalism within the club’s dressing room.

Mourinho, who has returned to Real Madrid for a second spell this summer, is said to have identified several habits he believes need to change since taking charge.

According to AS, the Portuguese manager has introduced stricter regulations covering players’ diets, punctuality, fitness routines and injury rehabilitation.

Under the new measures, players will no longer have complete freedom over what they eat. Their meals will instead be planned and supervised by a club nutritionist, with menus organised according to a structured programme.

Mourinho has also reportedly introduced a punishment for players who arrive late to training. Such players will be required to undertake individual gym sessions.

Another rule concerns injured players, with Mourinho insisting that rehabilitation should be conducted at the club’s training facilities under the supervision of Real Madrid’s medical and fitness staff.

Players recovering from injuries will reportedly no longer be permitted to undergo rehabilitation away from the team using external personnel without club supervision.

The measures are part of Mourinho’s reported efforts to establish greater discipline and consistency among the squad as he begins his second stint in charge of the Spanish giants.
