The Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) has stepped up engagement with key telecommunications industry players following courtesy and familiarisation visits to the headquarters of Airtel Nigeria and IHS Towers in Lagos.
The visits, which took place on Wednesday, October 21, 2026, provided an opportunity for the telecommunications regulator, industry operators and infrastructure providers to discuss industry operations and strengthen stakeholder relations.
The NCC delegation was led by its Executive Commissioner, Stakeholder Management, Ms. Rimini Makama, accompanied by the President of the Association of Licensed Telecommunications Operators of Nigeria (ALTON), Engr. Gbenga Adebayo.
At Airtel Nigeria’s headquarters, the delegation met with the company’s Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Dinesh Balsingh, during a courtesy and familiarisation visit.
