Access Bank postpones scheduled system upgrade
Access Bank has decided to delay its upcoming system upgrade originally scheduled for October 12, reassuring customers that all banking services will remain active during this time. The bank promises to communicate a new date for the upgrade soon, emphasizing its commitment to enhancing customer service through improved functionality.
Access Bank Plc has announced the postponement of its planned system upgrade, which was originally set for Saturday, October 12.
In an email to customers, the bank stated that a new date for the upgrade will be communicated soon.
The bank reassured customers that all banking services will remain fully operational during this period and encouraged them to disregard any speculative reports related to the upgrade.
“We wish to inform our valued customers that the previously announced system upgrade, initially slated for Saturday, October 12, has been postponed.
A new date will be provided in due course.
We remain dedicated to ensuring that this upgrade improves our services and delivers a better banking experience for all customers,” the bank’s statement read.

Access Bank Plc expressed appreciation for customers’ patience and understanding, urging them to ignore any rumors regarding the situation.
Previously, National Daily Newspaper reported that the upgrade was intended to optimize the bank’s customer offerings and was set to occur in phases, beginning at 10 PM on October 12 and concluding at 6:30 AM on October 13.
