AFCON 2021: Nigeria faces Tunisia in round of 16
Nigeria will be playing Tunisia in the round of 16 on Sunday after the group matches in the Africa Cup of Nations 2021 in Cameroon.
Tunisia qualified for the second round as one of the four third-placed teams after being defeated 1-0 by Gambia on Thursday.
The Nigerian Super Eagles finished top of Group D winning all the three matches with the maximum nine points.
The defending champion, Algeria, was eliminated at the group stage after being defeated 3-1 on Thursday by Ivory Coast. Ghana also lost out at the group stage of the competition.
