AFRIMA award ceremony hold in Lagos
The much awaited AFRIMA music award held in Lagos yesterday. Governor of Lagos State; Mr. Akinwunmi Ambode and his Wife; Mrs. Bolanle Ambode attended the award ceremony at Eko Convention Center, Eko Hotels and Suites Victoria Island-Lagos.
Governor Ambode in his brief remarks said the Lagos State Government is keenly interested in the development of creative talents.
“No nation or state can achieve its full potential without adequate attention to matters of heritage and culture.”
The Governor assured commitment of his administration on continuous partnership with credible organizations to ensure that Lagos remains the choice destination for arts and entertainment.
The Minister for Culture and Tourism Chief Lai Mohammed, Captain of industries, political leaders and other eminent personalities graced the occasion.
