Aisha Yesufu ridicules Malcolm Omirhobo appearing in Supreme Court in native doctor dress
A renowned female human rights activist, Aisha Yesufu, has ridiculed a legal practitioner, Malcolm Omirhobo, for appearing in Court in native doctor outfit.
Malcolm Omirhobo had appeared at the Supreme Court, as well as a High Court in Lagos, native doctor attire.
Aisha Yesufu taking a swipe at the legal practitioner noted that the hijab, which is the subject matter of protest is not being won by Muslim women occasionally but an outfit for all occasions and all places, public or private. She, therefore, challenged Malcolm Omirhobo to wear the tradomedical outfit to his office, markets, and other public places.
Aisha Yesufu on her twitter handle wrote: “Way to go! He should dress like this not just to court sittings but to his office, market, public gatherings etc.
“We do not wear the hijab occasionally or ceremoniously.
“It is an obligation that we observe and use all the time and that is why the Supreme Court gave that ruling!”
Omirhobo his dressing to react to the Supreme Court judgment approving female Muslim believers to attend schools in hijab in Lagos State.
