Amotekun patrol team rescue four robbery victims in Ondo, Osun
Some armed robbery victims were rescued by the Amotekun joint patrol team in Osun and Ondo states. The security outfit intervened to save some robbery victims from some armed men along Osu area of Osun State.
The armed robbers obstructed travelers on the highway, snatching a car from one of the motorists on the way.
The Amotekun Corps, on receiving a distress call, went after the armed robbers to rescue the victims of their operations. The armed robbers, however, escaped into the bush.
The Amotekun Commander in Ondo State, Adetunji Adeleye, noted that the robbers escaped into the bush but the victims were saved, except one that was killed by the robbers before their arrival.
Adeleye urged people to schedule their travels during the day, avoid night journey during the Christmas holiday.
