Amuwo Odofin APC flagbearer PLS unveils agenda to Media Practitioners
The All Progressives Congress (APC) flagbearer for the chairmanship seat in Amuwo Odofin Local Government, Prince Lanre Sanusi (PLS) has disclosed that revamping of roads,upscale of vocational training schemes and repositioning of Festac Town as a modern cultural and creative economic hub will be the top priorities of his administration once he emerges victorious at the July 12,2025 council election.
The unity driven flagbearer of APC in Amuwo-Odofin PLS revealed his master plan targeted at improving the lives of the residents, while citing his resolve to unite all the political gladiators within the party system in Amuwo Odofin Local Government.
In a familiarization chat with newsmen on Thursday in Festac Town, Prince Lanre Sanusi sought for the cooperation and support of journalist before, during and after the election with regards to promotion of worthy feats that he dream to bring to fruition in the area.
Fielding questions from the journalists on his plan to transform Amuwo Odofin, he assured the members of the Nigerian media industry of an accelerated revamping of the major and inner roads in Festac Town and creation of vocational centers in Festac, Abule Ado and Mile 2 areas of the local government.
While commending the media experts in projecting the ideology and performances of the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, he addressed them as friends and partners in progress of the development of the local government, having extended a hand of fellowship to them to join him in building a formidable Amuwo Odofin Community.
Prince Lanre Sanusi, a political leader with a wealth of excellence in project management, public service, community leadership, resource mobilisation and revenue generation has a deep understanding of the challenges facing Amuwo Community and the practical solutions needed to address them.
Part of the plans of Prince Lanre Sanusi which he revealed during the media chat with journalists was the repositioning of Festac Town as a modern cultural and creative economic hub, launching of the Amuwo Odofin cultural festivals to attract tourism and investments while collaborating with Lagos State ‘s Ministry of Arts, Culture and Tourism to develop a Creative Enterprise Park and also empowering local artisans, fashion designers, film producers, and musicians to thrive through grants, training, and global exposure.
In their remarks, the journalists in attendance at the media parley assured the chairmanship candidate of the All Progressive Congress in Amuwo Odofin Local Government, Prince Lanre Sanusi of collaborative media supports both before and after the forthcoming local government election.
