Another varsity strike: ASUU issues fresh three-week ultimatum to FG
There are indications of fresh industrial action in Nigerian universities as the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) on Monday issued a three-week ultimatum to the Federal Government to address all issues in the December 2020 Agreement.
ASUU President, Professor Emmanuel Osodeke, at a media interaction in Abuja, cautioned the federal government that the ASUU may be compelled to embark on another nationwide strike if the government fails to implement the Memorandum of Action signed with ASUU prior to the suspension of the last national strike, which last several months before it was suspended.
