APC surrenders on Bayelsa
The All Progressives Congress (APC) has at last surrendered on the governorship tussle in Bayelsa State; and of course, the party has exhausted, including abusing, legal processes, therefore, has no option.
APC State chairman at a news conference in Yenagoa on Thursday, urged party members and people of the state to accept the judgement of the Supreme Court. The state chairman expressed gratitude to the electorate for the massive turn out and support on election day that made the APC governorship candidate, David Lyon, win the governorship election which the Supreme Court nullified in a certificate forgery suit involving the deputy governorship candidate of the party.
The state chairman further told APC supporters to be peaceful and law abiding.
