APC Youth Leaders vow to resist postponement of Feb. National Convention
The youth leaders of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in Southwest Nigeria on Tuesday vowed to resist any decision to postpone the party’s national convention scheduled for February 2022. The youth leaders at a meeting in Akure, Ondo State, admonished the national leadership of the APC that plots to reschedule the party’s national convention beyond February 2022 would not be accepted.
The APC Youth leaders from the six states of Southwest Nigeria cautioned the APC leaders not to manipulate the electoral process against any candidate for the National Working Committee (NWC) office at the national convention. They insisted that only sound and competent members of the party, with requisite experience, should be allowed to take over the leadership of the party at the national level.
The youths further warned that the national convention in February may make or mar the APC.
