Atiku returns from UK after 2 days working visit
The presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, has returned from the United Kingdom (U.K.) after two days working visit where he had engagements with officials of the U.K. government on Nigerian issues.
Atiku had arrived Nigeria on Thursday, the media office disclosed on Friday.
According to his media office, “H.E @atiku on arrival last night at the end of a successful working trip to the UK during which he engaged with the Minister for Devt & Africa in the FCDO, amongst other key UK govt officials, parliamentarians, the Archbishop of Canterbury and some Nigerians in the Diaspora.”
In the entourage of the PDP presidential candidate were Governor Udom Emmanuel of Akwa Ibom State, Governor Aminu Tambuwal of Sokoto State, Dino Melaye; former PDP National Chairman, Prince Uche Secondus; former Aviation Minister, Osita Chidoka; and former Senate President, Bukola Saraki.
The media office further tweeted on Friday: “H.E @atiku on arrival last night at the end of a successful working trip to the UK during which he engaged with the Minister for Devt & Africa in the FCDO, amongst other key UK govt officials, parliamentarians, the Archbishop of Canterbury and some Nigerians in the Diaspora.”
