Bandits abduct Winners Chapel members during rehearsal
Some bandits have attacked a branch of Living Faith Church Worldwide, and abducted no fewer than three people on August 28.
It all happened at Osara community, along Lokoja-Okene road in Adavi Local Government Council of Kogi Stat
The criminals invaded the church premises when some of its members were rehearsing on the weekend, .shooting to scare away security before carrying the victims to an unknown destination.
The Chairman of Adavi Local Government Council, Joseph Omuya Salami, confirmed the development to newsmen on Monday evening through his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Habeeb Jamiu.
Salami visited the scene in company of the Divisional Police Officer (DPO) of Osara Division since the incident occurred.
Jamiu added that the council was working with security agents in the area to ensure that the victims are rescued unhurt.
