Bandits kidnap General Manager of Katsina Television, his 15-year-old daughter
Bandits have continued to hit hard on residents of Katsina State. In a fresh attack on Monday in Bakori Local Government Area, Katsina State, bandits kidnapped a former General Manager of Katsina State Television Station (KTTV), Ahmed Abdulkadir, as well as his 15-year-old daughter at his residence. Abdulkadir was also identified as a former Director at the National Broadcasting Commission (NBC).
The bandits had struck in less than 24 hours four children of the village head of Sabuwar Kasa were kidnapped in Kafur Local Government Area, Katsina State.
Governor Masari had in about six hours before the operations, banned all mobile phone commercial charging points across the 19 frontline local government areas in Katsina State, towards taming the surge of banditry in the state.
The bandits were said to have invaded the residence of Abdulkadir in Bakori community at about 9.00 pm on Monday.
