The Malian President had been in power for a long time until he was ousted in a coup that saw him almost lose his life in the incident that happened a couple of years ago.

Family of the former president has confirmed the news terming the death unfortunate and a blow to the country after Ibrahim Boubacar ruled the country for many years.
The illness that had been afflicting the Former President has not yet been disclosed by the family at this moment.
During his reign, Ibrahim Boubacar enjoyed a close and healthy relationship with the country of Kenya and President Uhuru Kenyatta.
The former president has died at the age of 76 after having ruled Mali for many years before being ousted in a coup.
