Buhari approves appointment 9 new permanent secretaries
President Muhammadu Buhari has approved the appointment of nine new permanent secretaries in the Federal Civil Service (FCS).
According to a statement signed by Winifred Oyo-Ita, the head of the civil service of the federation, the list of the federal permanent secretaries and their states of origin are as follows: Bakari Wadinga from Adamawa, M.K. Dikwa from Borno, Ajani Magdalene N. Olor from Delta, and Umakhihe Ernest Afolabi, Edo.
The others are Mbaeri Maurice Nnamdi, Imo; Babatunde Lawal, Lagos; Festus Yusuf Narai Daudu, Nasarawa; Abel Olumuyiwa Enitan, Osun and Musa Hanafi Moriki from Zamfara.
Oyo-Ita in the statement said that appointees who are yet to be assigned to a portfolio would get same after they are sworn in.
The statement further said that their swearing in and assignment of portfolios will be announced in due course.
