Buhari seeks Senate’s confirmation of nominees Aishah Ahmed, Edward Adamu as CBN Deputy Govs
President Muhammadu Buhari has transmitted the names of two nominees, Aishah Ahmed and Edward Adamu, to the Senate for confirmation as Deputy Governors of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN).

The President of the Senate, Ahmad Lawan, read President Buhari’s letter on Tuesday at plenary.
The nominees are to serve for a second and final terms as deputy governors at teh CBN.
President Buhari also sent another letter, requesting the Senate to confirm the appointment of Ambassador Ayuba Jacob as a member of the Revenue Mobilisation Allocation and Fiscal Commission (RMAFC).
