Court upholds Kefas as PDP Governorship Candidate in Taraba
The Federal High Court in Jalingo, Tarana State, on Monday dismissed two suits seeking to nullify the nomination of Colonel Agbu Kefas (rtd) as the governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the state.
The presiding judge of the Federal High Court, Justice Simeon Amobeda, in his judgement on the suits by Professor Jerome Nyame and Buba Mafindi, held that the plaintiffs failed to prove their cases beyond reasonable doubts.
The judge insisted that both complainants failed to exhaust the internal mechanism for conflict resolution of their party before approaching the court.
