Dino Melaye blasts APC for instigating crisis in PDP
Senator Dino Melaye had on Thursday blasted the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) for perceived instigation of the crisis in the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
Melaye had maintained that the PDP has no need to be apprehensive over the current internal conflict, saying the party is still strong as ever.
Dino Melaye has said that the PDP is not in a dilemma, that the party is strong and solid. He maintained that there is no fear, no agitation, noting that the agitation is rather from the APC, who are part of those orchestrating what is happening in the PDP.
Melaye was optimistic that the awaited judgement of the Court of Appeal on Friday in the suit by former PDP national chairman, Prince Uche Secondus, will be in favour of the PDP. He expressed confidence that the appeal court will not halt the party’s national convention scheduled to hold on Saturday and Sunday in Abuja.
