Edo 2024: LP candidate, Olumide Akpata visits Otaru of Auchi Kingdom
The candidate of the Labour Party (LP) in the September 2024 governorship election in Edo State, Olumide Akpata, former President of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), in mobilising support for his ambition, paid a courtesy visit to the Otaru of Auchi Kingdom, Alhaji Aliru Momoh.

According to the LP governorship candidate, @OlumideAkpata “In the course of my trip to the Auchi Sacred Kingdom to pay Eid homage to the Otaru of Auchi, I was led to the Otaru’s Palace by my dear brother, classmate, and friend of almost forty years, Prince Yusuf Asamah Kadiri, SAN, the Yerima of Auchi Sacred Kingdom.

“Afterwards, the Yerima and his family opened their home to us, where we shared a delightful meal, and caught up like old times.

The LP candidate, Akpata further said: “I was truly honoured to join the Otaru of Auchi Sacred Kingdom, Alhaji Aliru Momoh, Ikelebe III, the Daudus, the High Chiefs of Auchi, and the entire Otaru-in-Council at the Otaru’s Palace in Auchi to pay Eid homage to the Otaru.
