El-Rufai pays homage to dethroned Emir Sanusi II in Awe
Governor Nasiru El-Rufai of Kaduna State on Friday paid homage to the dethroned Emir of Kano, Muhammad Sanusi II at Awe, Nasarawa State.
Report indicated that Governor El-Rufai arrived Awe Local Government Friday afternoon on his visit to dethroned Emir Sanusi II in his exile home.
Heavy security presence was reported and the security operatives refused to allow journalists into the dethroned Emir’s residence and were only allowed to stay 200 metres away from the exile home while the governor went in for a brief meeting.
Photos were however, shared on Governor El-Rufai’s official Twitter handle.
Governor El-Rufai had offered the dethroned Emir Sanusi II two appointments immediately after his dethronement by Governor Abdullahi Ganduje of Kano State.
